Columbus Crew kick off preseason with questions aplenty
Preseason training has begun for the Columbus Crew. The roster has been shored up with the addition of SuperDraft selections Dilly Duka and Bright Dike and with the official return of Guillermo Barros Schelotto, yet questions remain. The most pressing issue is undoubtedly goal production.

The 28-year old boasts an impressive goal scoring record in the Colombian, Brazilian and Saudi leagues. He has been training with the team in Florida.

Devann Yao signs with Ipswich Town»Devann Yao, a 19-year old, New York-born winger has signed a contract with Roy Keane’s Ipswich Town until the end of the season, the Coca Cola Football League Championship side announced Feb. 3. Yao has been with Ipswich since at least November, when he was first offered a contract.

FC Gold Pride get Marta in WPS dispersal draft»
FIFA World Player of the year Marta fell to FC Gold Pride with the third selection in the Los Angeles Sol dispersal draft, instantly making the Bay Area club favorites in the 2010 title chase–if they can sign the Brazilian. Shannon Boxx was selected first by the Saint Louis Athletica. The Philadelphia Independence snatched goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc with the second.
