New York Red Bull’s Under-14 side won the U14 Christopher Columbus Cup on Monday, Oct. 13 after an unbeaten run in the tournament hosted by the Brooklyn Italians. The Baby Bulls posted group stage wins over BW Gottschee (3-1) and Alleycat Puma (9-1) before drawing Quickstrike FC 95s (0-0). The seven points were enough for the team to win their group and advance to the knockout stage.

In the semifinals, the U14s avenged a friendly loss earlier this season with a 2-0 win over TSF Diablos. In the final, goals from Adam Najem, Kit Alexieff, and Michael Kapitula gave the Red Bull a 3-1 win over Ironbound FC and the tournament title.
