U-14s roll into NJ State Cup quarterfinals

The U14s continued play in the New Jersey State Cup on Oct. 18 with a fourth round match against the U14 SJ Elite 94s and rolled to a 6-1 victory. Clayton Taylor recorded a brace, with Shane Kronick, Rikuo Nakamoto, Michael Kapitula, and Fredy Umanzor each finding the back of the net once. The U14s advance to the quarterfinals this weekend, taking on U14 Pasco Stallions at 3:00 pm at Mercer County Park. The semifinals and finals are slated for Nov. 1 and 2.

In Central Jersey Youth Soccer Association (CJYSA) action, the U14s drew with U14 Manhattan Kickers FC, 1-1, on Sunday, October 12. Kapitula scored the lone goal for the Red Bulls in that encounter.

On Oct. 26 the U-14s play the Cherry Hill FC Hammerheads at 2pm in a CJYSA game at Rutgers-Newark.
