The New York Red Bulls have signed a deal for Delaware North Counties Sportservice to handle concessions and premium dining services at Red Bull Arena, according to EUfootball.biz. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company claims to be “the oldest name in sports hospitality,” will primarily cater the 30 suited and 1,116 club seats at the Harrison, N.J., grounds. It is one of six subsidiaries of Delaware North Companies, a private investment firm that has existed since 1915. The others include the Boston Bruins ice hockey team and its arena TD Banknorth Garden.

This is Sportservice’s second major New Jersey contract, the first being the new Giants/Jets stadium, which is worth nearly $2 billion. The company will handle food operations at this stadium once it opens in 2010.
