– started and played the full 90 minutes in Chivas USA’s 3-0 shutout of the New England Revolution, Moreno put in a Man of the Match performance registering two assists on the opening goals before providing the icing on the cake with the third and final goal, it was his third goal of the season (3 goals, 2 assists), being called the catalyst of Chivas USA’s attack
Shavar Thomas (Sporting KC) – did not dress for Kansas City’s 1-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls, should take part in a reserve squad game today vs. Real Salt Lake
Fred (DC United) – started and played 47 minutes as DC United continued their losing ways in a 4-1 loss to the Houston Dynamo, the loss has the club and its boss Ben Olsen worried especially with a game against in-form Seattle tomorrow at 7:30PM
Shea Salinas (Vancouver) – came on as a substitute for Wes Knight in the 66th, worked 24+ minutes in a 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew, also played 12+ minutes in the Whitecaps’ 1-0 Wednesday road victory over the Montreal Impact in Nutrilite Canadian Championship play, it was his competitive debut for Salinas, the second leg will be played tomorrow in Vancouver
Brian Perk (Los Angeles) – did not dress for Los Angeles’ 2-1 loss to FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park

Eduardo Coudet (Fort Lauderdale) – Coudet scored yet again vs. Puerto Rico, his team-leading 3rd goal, on
a 41st minute penalty kick, this one put the Strikers ahead before the goals started pouring on and the game ended a 2-2 tie, it was his third consecutive PK in as many games
Cristian Arrieta (Fort Lauderdale) – did not play in the Strikers 2-2 tie with the Puerto Rico Islanders
Toni Stahl (Fort Lauderdale) – did not play in the Strikers 2-2 tie with the Puerto Rico Islanders
Brad Knighton (Carolina) – started, played 90 minutes, and made several saves in a 1-1 tie with Minnesota, the Railhawks will next meet Coudet, Arrieta, and Stahl in NASL play on May 11th, had a big fingertip save in the 50th minute
Nick Zimmerman (Carolina) – started and played the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 tie with Minnesota, Zimmerman drew the penalty kick (Etienne Barbara converted) in the 58th minute that put Carolina ahead, Minnesota tied it up only 9 minutes later and the game ended in a tie
