Comcast SportsNet, home to New England Revolution soccer, proudly announces a new partnership with Telemundo Boston to air Revolution games in Spanish. Select games, starting with the Philadelphia Union vs. Revolution match on Sunday, July 17, will be offered in Spanish on Comcast SportsNet via the SAP feature and can be seen on Telemundo Boston the day following the scheduled match.

Saturday, August 20
New York Red Bulls vs. Revolution
7:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 10
FC Dallas vs. Revolution
7:30 p.m.

Seattle Sounders FC vs. Revolution
7:30 p.m.

Omar Cabrera, Telemundo Boston’s sports contributor, will call the Revolution matches in Spanish throughout the season. Cabrera, a native of El Salvador, was raised in Boston , and has extensive experience covering local sports. Formerly, Cabrera was the co-host for the Sports Segment on Boston Latino TV as well as the producer and anchor of the Sports Segment at WNUI’s live daily newscast. He also hosted and produced the popular weekend sports magazine show, “Fútbol y Más” on WUNI.

“Soccer is the world’s game and Spanish speaking audiences are an important fan base for the team. We are proud to offer Revolution games in Spanish and we hope this will broaden interest in the Revolution with one of the most avid soccer communities in New England,” said Bill Bridgen, Vice President and General Manager of Comcast SportsNet.
